PYT Prerequisites

Prerequisites to enter the PYT program*

1. A minimum of 68 hours of study at an accredited university, or a minimum 2 year Associate degree in a licensed health care field such as PTA at a minimum.
2. A current health care license in your state of practice.
3. Massage therapists who apply must be recognized by the NCBTMB or have proof of graduation from a minimum 500 hour program.

*note that prerequisites are different for the Clinical Specialty Program. See each individual CS course for their prequisite(s).
